• If you are planning to pair the A7 III or A7R III, make sure you have the latest firmware installed.
• The camera can only have one active connection with one controller. Otherwise, there may be connection issues. You may encounter this if you frequently switching between an iPhone and an Apple Watch.
• The Apple Watch tries to save a lot of battery. Therefore, there may be occasional slower response.
• Focusing using the app requires the camera to be set to manual focus MF and lens to AF. If set othewise remote focusing including focus stacking will not work.
• If the orange status indicator is blinking in the app, then the camera is not properly paired or you have turned off the function of controlling the camera via Bluetooth.
• If you close the App or if you lock iPhone/Apple Watch then application will loose access to Bluetooth. So it might happen it will show you wrong camera state. Press any remote App button for re-establishing connection and display correct camera state.

No, unfortunately it is not technicaly viable. If you lock your device or switch to another application then Alpha Remote Controller loose access to Bluetooth connection. That could be potential confusing to users and cause harm.
Reconnection to already paired device take about 2s. As long as you have Alpha Remote Controller opened and camera is ready the connection is pretty stable. When connection is lost it will take less than 2s to connect again.
That depends on camera and device running Alpha Remote Controller. Each camera and device has different Bluetooth standards and broadcasting power. Newest cameras and iPhones can reach in optimal situation as long as 150m (~492). Apple Watches has usually shorter reach than iPhones but enough for the most common scenarios. Apple Watches also tends to save more battery power so reach might vary between stand by and active usage.
Do you know that Alpha Remote Controller include quick access Widget for lock screen or watch face? If you use remote controller frequently this can make your day.
